Wanted – Brave Christian Soldiers for a Christian Embassy in Kisangani!
August 1, 2026
Kisangani in the Democratic Republic of the Congo remains isolated since the Simba Rebellion that massacred Europeans and church workers in 1964. Most international Christian Denominations, Ministries and Missions had withdrawn. The Greatest Century of Missions now neglected. Yet the Church in Kisangani (and the historic work of the BMS, among others) had seemingly gone into a Holy Huddle, shy of inter-acting healthily and spiritually with global Christians. Kisangani International airport at Bangoka not listed on international travel aent and commercial cargo agent flight schedules. Kisangani had shrunk from the DRC’s third largest economy and a potential central Africa hub port (with 4 harbours), to a village again. Business and commercial offices, buildings and premises now occupied by squatters! Yet, as many countries in Africa, their plight is lamented, while local Christians wait passively upon God … ?
